Arbitrum

Definition

A family of Ethereum layer 2 networks that use optimistic rollup technology to execute transactions cheaply and settle them on Ethereum. Contracts written for Ethereum run on it largely unchanged. It appears in Ethereum content as one of the most used layer 2 networks.
