Definition

A decentralized lending protocol built on Ethereum and several other networks. Depositors supply assets to shared liquidity pools and earn interest, while borrowers draw from those pools against collateral they have locked. It appears in Ethereum content as one of the most widely cited examples of DeFi lending.
